How to make money with domain parking

The domain names parking is a passionate activity. Imagine that you are the proud owner of a domain name. You bought it because you were thinking of starting a Blog or the search engine that would overshadow google.

But in the mean time you lost interest and now you have a domain in your hands and nothing to do with it. One good option for you to make some money with it is to park it.

To park a domain is simply to place some text link ads in your domain and every time someone lands there an clicks an ad, you earn some cents. You can do it on your own, or you can use a more simple approach and park your domain using a company specialized in that business and split the revenue with them. The traffic potential of a parked domain it's very difficult to influence after the domain is bought. Let me explain in more detail: because you can't advertise your domain, if it doesn't have that potential before you buy it, you can't create it afterwords. That's why you have to buy carefully.

Good domains to park are:

1. Domains that use to have traffic and now are for sale (lots of links scattered throughout the web).
2. domains with strong keywords (www.watches.com would have lots of traffic even without advertising)
3. Misspellings of well known domains (www.yahho.com, must have lots of traffic)
